EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY – 03/24/2020

The How Place will remain open through this time.  Our meeting schedule is also remaining the same.

The only way for us to remain open and provide meetings is to strictly adhere to guidelines as best as possible.

From this point forward, until further notice, we shall adhere to 6’ spacing as recommended.  The chairperson and other officers of each meeting slot is responsible to read and guide each meeting accordingly. If a meeting has a large populous where it exceeds 25-30 people, then the meeting should be split with groups of 8 or less and put into the smaller rooms. In order for us to remain open, helpful, and safe we must all do our part.

“An alcoholics/ addicts life might depend on this meeting” is something we say all the time. Now we get to live it, responsibly. Remember- The newcomer is the most important person at our meetings. They are coming from jails/ prison, detox/ rehabs, etc. At this point we are here to ensure the message is being carried not to just hang out!

Thank you for your cooperation and support!!!
